Wyler Children’s Hospital was completed in 1967, expanding access to pediatric care in Chicago’s South Side community and bolstering pediatric research in the Department of Pediatrics.

Wyler Children’s Hospital is named in honor of Arma and Silvain Wyler, philanthropists and food processing entrepreneurs. Arma served on the University of Chicago Women’s Board.
