Comer Children’s Hospital was built in 2004 and expanded in 2006. This facility offers comprehensive pediatric care in a family-centered environment, with one of the region’s largest neonatal intensive care units, a dedicated pediatric emergency department, pediatric beds, a cancer clinic, and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Comer Children’s Hospital is named in honor of Frances and Gary C. Comer and the Comer Science and Education Foundation (now the Comer Family Foundation).
