The Joseph J. Ceithaml Student Center office suite houses Pritzker School of Medicine administrative offices.
The Joseph J. Ceithaml Student Center is named in honor of Joseph J. Ceithaml, SB’37, PhD’41, who served as dean of students for the Pritzker School of Medicine and the Division of the Biological Sciences at the University of Chicago from 1951 to 1986. Dr. Ceithaml is esteemed for his role in expanding access to medical education through financial aid and elevating the eminence of the Pritzker School of Medicine, and for his national leadership in formulating policies on medical student affairs and financing.
