Chicago Lying-In Hospital
This site of the Chicago Lying-In Hospital opened in 1931 with 140 beds dedicated to obstetrical and gynecological care and education. The hospital housed the Mother’s Aid Research Pavilion. In 1938 the Chicago Lying-In Hospital merged with the University of Chicago Hospitals.
